The young Jean Luc was struck by a man driving a car at the time, and he spent a year in the hospital having multiple procedures.
It isn’t easy to imagine he’s been through so much when you see him beaming with joy on his shows, laughing aloud, or joking with his guests.
But given that he nearly lost it while driving, that is perhaps the reason he loves life so much. Jean-Luc Reichmann suffered a tragic motorcycle accident in 1984. The show’s host, The twelve strokes of noon, remembers the incident even though it happened approximately 40 years ago.
A car accident left him with scars, including one on his left forearm, which he was not afraid to display on the set of noon shoots in 2017 to warn children and teenagers about the risks of the road.
Although he recently spent a few days traveling across America with his wife Nathalie Lecoutre, Jean-Luc Reichmann does not appear upset with the bike. Like what? A mishap does not always snuff out the fervor!
