We are not sure about Valentina Shevchenko’s religion. Many claim her to be a Muslim, but she has yet to speak anything about it.

We don’t think she is a Muslim as she doesn’t seem to follow the famous Muslim rituals.

We think she may be a Christian.

On March 7, 1988, Shevchenko was born in Frunze, Kirghizia, USSR, to a Ukrainian family, although she has characterized herself as “Russian” in a Russian interview, and her natural tongue is Russian.

Her family was born in the Soviet Union and then moved to Kyrgyzstan.

Valentina began Taekwondo at the age of five after getting interested in combat sports at a young age, influenced by her elder sister Antonina and mother, who also engaged in the sport.

She began Muay Thai kickboxing at 12 and later freestyle Vale Tudo.
