Melissa Cornell has two siblings from her father’s second marriage.
Her late father, John Cornell, and her mother separated due to unknown reasons. Afterward, he married another woman named Delvene Delaney in 1977.
The couple was married for 45 years and was together until his death.
They got married after John’s sidekick, and famed Paul Hogan said Delaney was his perfect match.
However, Melissa’s biological mother’s name is unknown.
John had two daughters with Delaney. They are Liana and Allira Cornell.
Liana, age 31, is an actress and is best known for her work in Brittania, Wolf Creek, Child of Love, and more. She graduated from the NIDA in 2021.
After the loss of her father, Liana paid him tribute on her Instagram handle with a series of pictures.
She said they lost the brightest star in the world and expresses her profound love for him.
Further, Liana said she would take some time off from social media to cope with the loss of her father.
She has not released any statement regarding her father’s passing. We express our deepest condolences to Melissa and all the Cornell family.
