The passerby found the body of Laci Peterson’s body in a marshy area of the San Francisco Bay shore in Richmond’s Point Isabel Regional Shoreline Park, north of Berkeley.
The autopsy was performed on both the bodies by forensic pathologist Dr. Brian Peterson. Conner’s body was not decomposed, and his right side of the body was mutilated.
Luci’s cervix was intact. She has suffered two cracked ribs, but Dr. Peterson couldn’t determine if it occurred before or after her death. The doctor declared the fetus had died in utero.
