Krystal Shanahal is also known as the younger sister of an American football coach Kyle Shanahan, head coach of the San Francisco 49ers of the NFL.
Kyle formerly served as the offensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons, Washington Commanders, and Houston Texans. In 2016, he coordinated an offense with the Falcons that led the league in points scored and reached Super Bowl LI.
49ers hired him as the head coach in 2017, and he led them to an appearance in Super Bowl LIV. Kyle was born on December 14, 1979, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, while his father, Mike, coached at the University of Minnesota.
After leading the 49ers to Super Bowl LIV in 2020, he and Mike became the first father and son head coaching due to reaching the Super Bowl. Kyle has been happily married to his beloved wife, Mandy Shanahan, since 2005.
The loving pair are blessed with three children, Carter Shanahan, Stella Shanahan, and Lexi Shanahan.
