Hawkins is the frontman and lead vocalist of the American rock band Nothing More. He was originally the drummer for the band but made the move to lead vocals on the group’s third album, 2009’s The Few Not Fleeting. The group self-released its self-titled fourth album in the year 2014 before finally catching their big break.
Nothing More caught the attention of the Eleven Seven Label Group who reissued the album. It cracked the top 40 of the Billboard 200 albums chart upon its debut, tallying four singles. The album not only gave the group the breakout success they had dreamt of but set the table for even more.
Hawkins said that if you had asked them years ago, they all would have wanted to press the speed it up button as quickly as possible.
