Jonathan is best known for being a member of the Osteen family, but he has a career in music. He plays guitar and sings in his church choir. He is also the lead singer of the group – LYA; The other band members are Alexandra Osteen, Louie Garcia and Abel Orta. The four band members travel to Lakewood Church, where they also serve in the church choir.
The band was born out of the need to create diverse music that always managed to address the concept of faith and a relationship with Jesus. The music they create fits the alternative genre and will appeal to younger audiences, who are also their biggest fan demographic. The band primarily released singles; their first single was the song, Feelin’ which was released in 2016, followed by Rush which was released the same year. The next time they released new music was in 2019 and it was the song, In the Name. Their music is available on iTunes and Spotify.
