The club was ordered to help people educate themselves about the harmful consumption of alcohol and the danger of social media. Because of social media, his videos were seen by many worldwide, and the inappropriate use of social media might cost someone’s life.
Later after some time, the player shared a statement with his fans and followers; he said, “I’d also like to apologize to the supporters, sponsors, and directors of Castleford Tigers as well as my teammates.”
He added, “I’d like to extend this apology to the game of rugby league, and I have realized that I need to work on my decision-making around alcohol.”
Along with Westerman has shared apology, people have not stopped commenting negatively and blaming him for the incident.
