Traci Paige Johnson gives voice to the beloved character Bluey. She is also one of the three creators of the series. Johnson has given voice for both the original and the reboot. 

On the tenth anniversary special of the show, she revealed why she chose to give voice to the character. The artist said her bark sounds like a dog bark. 

Meanwhile, one of the other creators of the show Joe Brumm writes much of the episodes drawn from his childhood and raising his children.
