Legendary golf champion Jack Nicklaus is married to college friend Barbara Bash and they have been living happily ever after. The couple hit it off in July 1960 and have been together for over five decades and counting. Together they have five children, namely Michael, Steven, Gary, Jack and Nancy Nicklaus. His first son, Jack Jr., was born in September 1961, while Steve followed him two years later in November 1963. His third child, Nancy, was born in May 1965, after four years Gary was born in January 1969, then Michael arrived in July 1973. Besides his five children, Jack and his wife Barbara also have twenty-two grandchildren from their children’s marriage.
Amazingly, when Jack was honored with the United States Congressional Gold Medal in 2015, his entire family was in attendance, including his children and grandchildren. Jack’s marriage was considered one of the most successful celebrity marriages. His children are active participants in their father’s affairs and are doing well in this respect.
