Nicknamed “the king of the fourth”, Thomas is 1.75m tall and 84kg (185lb) in weight. In 2016, he was officially listed by the NBA as 5-foot-9 tall, but Thomas openly stated he was even shorter than that, calling himself a “little man.” According to him, he was only 5’8 inches tall.
He lost his toot in 2017 in the first quarter of the Celtics’ 123-111 Game 1 win over the Wizards in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The incident happened when Thomas wanted to break up a pass but was suddenly punched in the mouth by Washington’s Otto Porter. The unfortunate collision resulted in the loss of his upper front tooth. In what seemed funny to onlookers, Thomas quickly picked up his fallen tooth and gave it to a Boston medical staff member and continued the game.
After the match ended, Thomas tried to have his probe fixed but all efforts to do so proved futile. Although he still hopes his tooth will be fixed, he continues his game by making light of his sudden breach tooth.
