The Chopped show host Ted was born to Lowell Reese Allen and Donna Allen on May 20, 1965. He is an alumnus of Purdue University and New York University.

He got engaged to his partner of 20 years Barry Rice in 2013. They have been happily living their life together in Brooklyn. 

The Emmy-winner has hosted several shows like ‘Top Chef’, ‘America’s Best Cook’, and ‘Chopped Junior’, and also starred in an episode of ‘Modern Love’. 

On the flip side, comedian Tim was born in 1953. His father Gerald M. Dick was a real estate agent and his mother Martha Katherine was a social service worker. His father died in a car accident in 1964 leaving his six kids. 

The talented actor has two older brothers, two younger brothers, and a younger sister. He is the third child in the family. They all moved to Birmingham after his mother decided to marry a businessman.  

Tim tied the knots with Laura Deibel in April 1984 but they got divorced in 2003. They have a daughter named Katherine.

After that, he started dating actress Jane Hajduk. They got married in an intimate wedding in Colorado on October 6, 2006. In 2009, they were blessed with a baby girl who they named Elizabeth Allen.
