Tasha Cobbs started her music career as a solo artist in 2010 when she rewarded her then fans with her debut album which she titled “Smile”. The album was a big hit and caught the attention of American music group EMI Gospel who sought her out for collaborations and in 2013 they released her EP titled Grace. The EP hit two Billboard charts and went to number one on the Top Gospel Albums chart.
In addition to the success of the EP, 2 of his singles Breaking All Chains and For Your Glory quickly scored No. 1 on the Hot Gospel Songs chart. Her wins continued until 2015 when Tasha was named Gospel Artist of the Year at the GMA Dove Awards.
Tasha has improved her skills as a worshiper, worship pastor and above all, a psalmist. She once advised anyone who wanted to be like her to understand that being a cult leader meant that people came to see your face on stage every week, which put your life in the spotlight. As such, it is important to live life very carefully. His commitment to authentic ministry mingles in both his words and his performance.
A while back, Tasha received a lot of backlash and criticism from a large chunk of her fans when she collaborated with Nicki Minaj. That said, Tasha listened to the criticism but turned a deaf ear to all of them.
Tasha, like everyone else, has had her fair share of challenges and problems. She fell into depression just before she said I was doing it now with her husband, Leonard, but eventually got over it. Following this experience, she had openly advised anyone not to overlook “mental illness”, which was bound to get worse.
