Parents Rich and Kalpana Shah pleaded for people to get in touch if they had spotted their kid in a Facebook post.
“We have not been able to reach or hear from our son Shay… Please let me, Kalpana, or Sahil know if you’ve heard from him today, hear from him tomorrow, or see him. Our top priority is to contact him,” the petition stated.
On social media, locals published and shared the plea for assistance in finding the missing kid.
On behalf of the father, a verified Twitter account sent a message on social media requesting contacts in the event of any information.
Our son Shaylan ‘Shay’ Shah has been missing since Saturday, July 15, at about 5.50 a.m. According to our confirmation, Shay was last observed in Newark Penn Station on Saturday morning at about 11 a.m..
Unfortunately, we are unsure of Shay’s current location. The message stated that we are concerned for Shay’s welfare and value any continued assistance in locating him.
