Kron’s father and other family members, such as his grandfather Helio Gracie and uncles Rorion, Royce, and Royler Gracie, have all played a significant role in developing and promoting Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Despite being of Brazilian ethnicity, Kron was born and raised in the United States and held American citizenship.
He grew up in an environment where martial arts were a way of life and began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at a young age.
