Kaitlyn Dever’s parents are Tim Dever and Kathy Dever. Her parents, Tim and Kathy, raised her along with her sisters Jane Dever and Mady Dever.

Her parents are ice skating coaches and gave birth to Kaitlyn on 21 December 1996 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Her family lives together, and her father is a player in the showbiz industry in Dallas. She grew up mainly in Dallas, Texas.

Her father is also a voice actor who has voiced Barney the Purple Dinosaur and Bob the Builder.

Her parents are still married, and their relationship is stronger than ever.

Kaitlyn grew interested in the performing arts, so she was sent to an acting school at the age of five. 

She also participated in gymnastics, ballet, and skating, until she focused on acting.

She enrolled at the Dallas Young Actors Studio in a month-long acting program. Refining her acting skills at the studio, she did several commercials.

She then moved to Los Angeles to further her career in acting.
