In November 2003, Timothy Kosowicz lured Chole Hoson into his cabin with the help of a kitten. The two were neighbors in Lansvale Caravan Park.
Kosowicz then used two shopping bags to strangle Hoson to death. He molested the lifeless body before dumping her in a creek. Timothy Kosowicz was the age of 22 years old at that time.
After a long trial between Timothy Kosowicz and Chole Hoson’s parents (Karina Beharrell and Michael Hoson), the killer was found not guilty. He escaped the punishment based on mental illness and was sent to a psych ward instead.
Timothy Kosowicz’s complete dateline is not available on Wikipedia to date. However, the officials released CCTV footage relating to the case in April 2018. The video showed Timothy carrying Chole’s bodybag before disposal.
The verdict of the case sparked a massive outcry across Australia. It remains one of the most controversial cases in Australia to date.
