Alex was born to the Cobb family in Boston, Massachusetts, on October 7, 1987. He is currently 37 years old. Alex was birth to supportive parents, Lindsay Miller Cobb and Rick Cobb. Although his family was not from an athlete background, he had chased a different profession than his parents. 

Moreover, his father, Rick, was an accountant who worked as a financial specialist. When Alex was two years old, his family moved to Vero Beach, Florida, because of the lack of job opportunities. He had attained Vero Beach High School and graduated in 2006.
