Miya Ali’s father married his first wife, Sonji Roi, in 1964 and they lasted for two years together before the marriage was dissolved in 1966. A year after, he married his second wife, Belinda Boyd, who later changed her name to Khalilah. While together, they had three daughters and a son; Maryum (born 1968), twins Jamillah and Rasheda (born in 1970), and Muhammad Ali, Jr. (born in 1972).
