In 2007 Gabrielsson appeared in two films; the Danish/Swedish co-production Princess and the Danish children’s film Krummerne 3 – Fjernsyn for alle.
In 2008 he had a leading role in the Swedish film Jag är Bjarne Lisper, directed by Daniel Lind Lagerlöf. The film was very well received by the critics and Gabrielsson’s performance was singled out for praise.
