Rachel Maddow was born on 1st April 1973 in Castro Valley, California.
She was born to her father Robert B. Maddow and her mother Elaine Maddow.
Her father was a former United States Air Force captain. He resigned after Rachel’s birth and joined East Bay Municipal Utility District and worked as a lawyer while her mother was a school program administrator.
She was blessed with an older brother named David Maddow.
