She met her longtime beau Scott through a common friend. It was as if like love at first sight, and he would go around finding a reason to meet her. Although the romance didn’t start soon enough, he did find a way to contact her and invited her to a Thanksgiving party.
After a couple of meets, Scott’s never giving up attitude on her eventually made her fall in love with him. Meanwhile, he proposed her on a private beach to which she describes as a very idyllic feeling. Soon after, they got hitched in January of 2000.
Scott is a well-off TV star, businessman, real state investor and an author. Amie Yancey’s daughter Sarah, shares a very good bonding with her stepdad, Scott. Although much about her previous relationship is not known, the family of three seem to share a pretty good relationship and supports each other very much.
