As previously specified, Ketel and Starling are rumored to be biological brothers; however, they are related only as teammates.
Starling is a Dominican professional baseball outfielder currently performing for New York Mets. He was born on 1998 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Before joining New York Mets, he used to play for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Arizona Diamondbacks, Miami Marlins, and Oakland Athletics.
Since the surname of both players is the same, and they belong to the same field, most people misunderstand both have a genetic relationship. Nonetheless, Starling lost his mother when he was only nine.
However, addressing the rumor, Starling explained his teammate Ketel has supported him as a brother. Hence he refers to him as a brother more than a teammate after the loss of his wife.
May the bonding between fellow teammates will remain the same in the coming days.
