The Honorable Harry Herbert was born on March 2, 1959, while Clodagh McKenna was born on May 10, 1975.
As such, the couple has a 16-year-old age difference, and Herbert was married before he met McKenna. He was married to a woman named Francesca Bevan, with whom he has two children.
These two children are Francesca Jeanie Herbert, who was born on November 25, 1995, and Chloe Victora Herbert, who was born on November 14, 1999. Though the exact date of his divorce from Bevan is unknown, it is believed that they had long since parted by 2017.
In 2017, Clodagh and Harry first connected during a luncheon held by Fortnum & Mason in London. Harry proposed to Clodagh in October 2020, and the two were married in August 2021.
Highclere Castle, where Downton Abbey is filmed, served as the venue for Clodagh and Harry’s wedding, and they honeymooned in Ibiza. The couple now resides in Broadspear House, a cottage on the grounds of Highclere Castle.
They recently made their This Morning debut with each other as they came together to remember the late Queen after her passing. Harry and Clodagh attended the Queen’s funeral on September 19 and the Committal Service at St. George’s Chapel.
The following morning, they appeared on This Morning to talk about the Queen’s legacy.
Harry began by expressing how depressing the day was and how it served as a time for contemplation before noting how lovely the funeral service was. He claimed on the program that his dad was the Queen’s closest friend for a very long time, giving him and his siblings the opportunity to know the monarch from an early age.
They were surrounded by every aspect of her, including her personality and sense of humor, Harry continued.
