Chris Kenopic is a deaf actor who is originally from Ontario, Canada. He is the executive director of the Deaf Literacy Initiative. According to his LinkedIn account, he is a Settlement Worker.
Kenopic has worked in the Canadian Hearing Society for over ten years now. He became the Ceo and Director of The Canadian Hearing Society in 2014. Before that, he worked as the CHS regional director.
He graduated from Gallaudet University. Chris was married to his wife, Baskerville, for 26 years before she passed after taking her own life. She was also deaf, and she was very dear to Chris.
Baskerville, who was 50 years old, committed suicide on June 29. The Deaf Literacy Initiative’s executive director, Kenopic, recounted her experience, hoping that it would highlight the pressing need for social assistance for Canadians who are deaf and disabled, particularly in times of need.
The couple were married for a long time and had two daughters and one son, according to The star. Their son is also deaf, but their daughters are not.
Kenopic has been trying to raise awareness among people, so other people do not go through the same fate that his wife went through, and he wants to do everything in his power to prevent things like that from happening after losing his beloved wife.
