Lacey Spears is currently imprisoned at the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women.
A judge sentenced Lacey to 20 years in prison for taking the life of her toddler son. However, Robert Neary, the judge in the case, acknowledged that Lacey Spears suffers from Munchausen syndrome by proxy. As a result, she was not sentenced to the maximum of 25 years in prison before parole eligibility.
Lacey’s conviction was upheld in her state appeal, and the state’s highest court declined to review her conviction. As a result, she will be eligible for parole in 2034 when she is 46.
