Amanda Martinez’s initial complaint was that the soup that the restaurant delivered was way too hot.

Hence, the plastic lid melted off and fell into the soup.

After initiating two harsh verbal altercations on the phone with the manager Janelle, Amanda appeared in the restaurant.

There, she splashed the soup on Janelle’s face and walked away from the scene before the Temple Police was called.

Martinez was arrested on Wednesday and charged with assault causing bodily harm.

Janelle’s eyes were burned due to the soup’s spices, and she faced two nosebleeds as the soup was still warm.

Her bond was set at $5,000, for which she is out of jail at the moment.

The restaurant has banned her from entering the place, per the recent updates.
