Mulvaney’s journey of exploring her sexuality and gender began during the COVID-19 pandemic when she came out as a trans woman while living with her conservative family in San Diego.
She started documenting her gender transition in a popular series called “Days of Girlhood” on TikTok, which attracted both support and controversy from people.
During a podcast with Ulta Beauty, Dylan opened up about her childhood, coming out as transgender, and her transition. T
his led to debates, with some people misgendering her and others accusing her of making “misogynistic” claims.
Furthermore, meeting President Joe Biden during a forum shed light on the challenges faced by transgender youth.
Still, unfortunately, it also subjected Dylan to a fierce campaign by right-wing activists.
Despite the criticism, Dylan underwent facial feminization surgery, attended events like the Grammy Awards, and even received the Queerties Groundbreaker Award.
Hosting a live variety show and celebrating the first anniversary of her transition on TikTok further highlighted her journey.
But recently, after the controversial Tik Tok video where Dylan expresses her desire to date a woman, she is known to be lesbian.
According to some sources, Dylan may now identify as straight.
However, Dylan has remained silent about the matter and has not provided any clarification or statement to address the issue.
