DJ is married to his beautiful wife, Sarah Durkin. She was born on March 24, 1978. She grew up in Cincinnati, where she met Daniel “DJ” Durkin in a bowling alley.

At bowling green, DJ was an outside linebacker and defensive end. On June 13, 2002, he and Sarah married. 

The couple has two children together. Luke is their son, and Abigail is their daughter.

His family has found it challenging to settle down due to his tutoring. In a 2016 interview with The Washington Post, Sarah revealed that they lived in three states in less than a year.
