In March 2022, Creighton Center suffered a knee injury during the first-round game in the NCAA Tournament’s 72-69 overtime victory over San Diego State.
As a result, the basketball player missed the rest of the tournament. He was expected to recover in two or three months.
The Center didn’t put any weight on the leg, and he was helped to move out of the court. During the team’s locker room celebration, he was in a wheelchair.
Luckily, the sustained injury was not as significant as initially assumed, confirmed the Creighton Bluejays head coach Greg McDermott via a tweet.
