In 1995, Ellen landed her first major role in the movie ‘Dolores Claiborne’. It was a hugely successful film and earned it praise from the media and fans. Not long after, Muth landed a role on the American comedy/drama Law & Order. Then, she was cast as Constance in the 1999 movie “The Young Girl and the Monsoon.” The film did not do well at the box office. However, Ellen won praise for her performance in the film.
In 2000, Ellen made her appearances on sitcoms such as “The Beat,” “Cora Unashamed,” and “The Truth About Jane.” She has done a lot in the industry, but her main job has to be for the sitcom “Dead Like Me”. She played the character, Georgia Lass, who was the lead and appeared for 29 consecutive episodes.
After a few years of one season, Ellen took a short break from acting and only returned in 2010. She returned to the big screen for movies like “Rose and Violet” and “Margarine Wars.” She also made a famous guest appearance on the amazing series “Hannibal” as “Georgia Madchen”.
