Lou Pelletier’s daughter Justina Pelletier finally got a chance to reunite with her parents after the 16- months custody battle after the judge order in 2014.
At that time, she was at the age of 16. The custody battle was between the State of Massachusetts and her Connecticut family.
She is now with her parents recovering at her own home. This summer, it will be 6 years since Justina was released from Children Hospital and allowed to return home.
She said that she took off important medication while in a wheelchair and would start rehab. She believed that she could walk someday.
According to her father, she is now a passionate horse rider, and she has accomplished her last year artist finishing in her school.
Lou Pelletier said that he would help and fight if any other families were in similar situations.
