All Creatures Great and Small Season 4 is set to be released on Masterpiece on PBS in early 2024. The series will air on Channel 5 this autumn.
Currently filming in England, the season will consist of seven new episodes, including a Christmas Special.
Recently, Channel 5 announced the casting for the fourth season. Nicholas Ralph, Anna Madeley, Patricia Hodge, Samuel West, and Rachel Shenton are all confirmed to reprise their roles.
However, fans will be disappointed to learn that Woodhouse will not be appearing in the new season as his character is away for the war.
To fill the void, a new character, Richard Carmody, a studious student, portrayed by James Anthony-Rose, will arrive at Skeldale House.
Channel 5 noted that Farnon’s absence is in line with the original books by Herriot.
