Destiny Etiko was born on 12th August 1989 in Udi, Enugu State, Nigeria. She is the second born in a family of four children, three brothers and a sister and she attended both her primary and secondary schools in Enugu State.
The beautiful actress then proceeded to Nnamdi Azikiwe University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts.
Her drive and inspiration for acting came from her mother whom she revealed in an interview as one of the veteran actresses in Nollywood though it’s not clear if for sure her mother was an actress since she avoids media attention and lives a private life.
Destiny again in the interview confessed that she will never compromise her acting career to raise a family a mistake that her mother did back then. She, however, received full support from her mother although her father never accepted the idea. Her father was afraid his daughter won’t be able to cope with acting and raising a family, although Destiny prioritizes her acting to raising a family.
