Electra lost her mother in 1998 from brain cancer. Two weeks later, her elder sister Debbie died from a heart attack. During all these incidences, she was dating an NBA superstar, Dave Navarro, who she got married to in 2003. Their marriage did not go for as long as they divorced three years later.
She got married again in 2008 to Rob Patterson, who they separated later in 2012. It is claimed that she also dated Simon Cowell from December 2012 to February 2013.
