People are still looking for a Donut Shop murder update in 2022. In the podcast, Regina Alexander, the daughter of murder victim Elizabeth Steffins, connected with Jerry Nations, a relative of the homicidal McClary family.
Relatives of victims, as well as relatives of those killed in the Donut Shop Murders, have connected and formed a bond in the comment section of the website of a now-defunct podcast.
Notably, the son of one of the perpetrators, Jerry made a friend out of the daughter of one of the murder victims, Regina. The piece goes into detail about how she met Jerry, a relative of the killers.
When the family was arrested, Jerry was one of several children who were taken away from them. He was only five years old. He was in and out of foster care until 1976 when he and his brother were adopted.
It wasn’t until he was 29 years old, in 1995, that he learned about his family’s dark history. “Families Who Kill: The Donut Shop Murders,” a new podcast about the case, released its six episodes on February 2, here.
