Elaine Campione is still in prison now after she was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum tariff of 25 years.
The woman was convicted in 2010, nearly four years after the incident, in which her lawyer pleaded the woman being mentally unstable and struggling.
While the court heard her situation, it made sure that such a horrifying crime didn’t go unpunished.
So, she was sentenced to a life imprisonment sentence with at least 25 years in jail before being eligible for commutation.
In 2019, she was allowed for escorted absences from prison.
