Goorijan’s family consists of his father Edward, his mother, and two younger brothers named Kevin and Greg.
His father is an American former college basketball coach who served as the head coach of the Loyola Marymount Lions men’s team from 1980 to 1985. However, his mother’s name is unknown to date.
Brian’s younger brothers were basketball players at Crescenta Valley Hight School whilst he played college basketball for the Pepperdine Waves.
Interestingly, Brian was coached by his father Ed.
Goorjian was born in Glendale, California, and holds American-Australian nationality.
He then moved to Australia in 1977 to play for the Melbourne Tigers under head coach Lindsay Gaze.
