Pete married Valerie Chaney on October 28, 2017. The pair recently celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary.

Holmes couple has been together at least since October 2014, Valerie shared a polaroid taken at their home on October 28, 2014, on her Instagram account and wrote they did not know it would be their anniversary three years later.

The pair celebrated their 5th anniversary in 2022, Chaney took to her Instagram to share a post featuring their wedding picture to celebrate the occasion. Neither Valerie nor Pete had previously wished one another their anniversary publicly on social media.

The couple has not revealed much about their first meeting or their love story on the internet yet. In fact, Valerie shared the image of their wedding nearly a week after the ceremony. She first shared images from their honeymoon on her Instagram account. 

Valerie is Pete’s second spouse as he was married to another woman previously. Pete and his first partner tied the knot in 2001 when the comedian was just 22 years old and a fresh college graduate. 

Unfortunately, their relationship did not continue long and the pair called quits just after 6 years of being married. Pete’s HBO show Crashing is a loose adaptation of his real-life love story and his divorce, according to Inverse.
