Robert Lane “Bob” Saget is the son of Benjamin Saget and Rosalyn Saget. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on May 17, 1956. At the age of two, his family moved to Lexington.
He completed his schooling at Abington Senior High School and later went to Temple University. In 1999, Saget was seen in the intercollegiate Comedy Festival. He is known to have a very good friendship with Alan Thicke and Dana Delany.
