Annie Murphy family members helped her to pursue a career as an actress. Annie developed a passion for acting in high school.

Murphy was born to Canadian parents on December 19, 1986. She does not have siblings, but the closest thing to a sibling she had was a teddy bear with whom she grew up since she was born. Unfortunately, her teddy Worthington was burnt to ashes when her Toronto apartment caught fire in 2013.

Annie is very close to her on-screen kin from Schitt’s Creek. She considers her on-screen father, Eugene Levy, who played Johnny Rose, as her second dad and often shares birthday wishes and images on her social media account. She has also worked with her on-screen mom Catherine O’Hara beyond Schitt’s Creek.

Unlike her super wealthy business magnate parents in Schitt’s Creek, Annie was raised by two school teachers in real life, Annie is now a married woman. Although she is yet to welcome kids of her own and start her little brood, she is happily spending time with her musician husband.
