He was made in the USA on June 2, 1962, in Arizona. Dan completed his studies and attended Sabino High School, graduating in 1980. Later, in 1984, he received his degree from the University of Arizona. In 1989, Dan relocated to the east to work as a sports reporter for CNN in Atlanta after beginning his radio career as a weekend sports anchor on KVOA.
