Veronique Pirotton was Bernard Wesphael’s late wife.
In terms of his relationship with Veronique, they married in Tuscany in 2012. They met three months before their wedding while she was working as a journalist.
His father worked as a miner at the Chenee coolery, according to La Libre. His father went on to work as a public servant later in life.
Bernard has Belgian nationality because he was born in the country.
Aside from that, no information about his family members has surfaced.
He does, however, have a sister, Isabelle Wesphael. She was an educational coordinator at the time.
