Ashton Nicole Casey was born on February 19, 1996, in Oak Ridge, North Carolina, and grew up in a small town called Greensboro.
Her parents divorced when she was young, and she grew up with her mother and stepfather.
Ashnikko has always been passionate about music and started writing her songs as a teenager. She was inspired by artists like Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim and began performing at local open mic nights.
After finishing high school, Ashnikko moved to Estonia to attend university but dropped out after a year to focus on her music career. She moved to London, England, in 2016 and started releasing music on SoundCloud and YouTube.
