She had breast cancer surgery, and in July 2022, she revealed that her surgery was successful, with no sign of a tumor found.

The couple were extremely happy and shared their joy with friends and families. Unfortunately, Bec had a stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis during her initial lumpectomy procedure in December 2021.

The pair has since undergone five months of chemotherapy and a full round of IVF to preserve their fertility. Bec concluded her chemotherapy treatment in May 2022, following eight rounds and five incredibly difficult months.

The couple was questioned regarding their plans for a family on the day she received her cancer diagnosis. However, their physicians offered them the chance to attempt one round of IVF for fertility treatments as chemotherapy and other prescribed treatments could prevent them from becoming pregnant naturally.

Since Eamon and Bec have always wanted children, they took the chance and referred to it as their insurance policy. This marked the start of a month-long dance that included ultrasounds, numerous daily injections, blood work, and ultimately an egg retrieval procedure plus embryo production.

In their most recent YouTube video, she explained everything from 6 weeks after chemotherapy to deciding between a lumpectomy or a mastectomy, the recovery process, and the procedure’s pathology findings.
