LaShawnda Lane Cleare raised her son Anthony alone after uncle Tanka passed away. LaShawnda graduated from Santa Fe College. 

After separating from her first husband, she looked after kids needs. She has always encouraged and supported Anthony in achieving his career goal. 

With support and encouragement, Anthony made his entry in the NFL draft. When Anthony was asked about the plan for his mother with his first NFL paycheck, he stated that his mom didn’t want him to do anything for him.

In an interview with Hightop Sports, she talked about Anthony and his career. Growing up in Miami he moved to Gainesville for a quality life for her sons and worked two to three jobs. 

As Anthony has made a name for himself in college, he has made his uncle and mother LaShawnda proud. On the occasion of Mother’s Day, he tweeted with wishes on May 12, 2019. 

LaShawnda married Ferrell Cleare on June 19, 2021 at C Bar Ranch and Organics. She has shared pictures with Frrell on her Facebook account.

Anthony is close to his step dad Ferrell. The family enjoy holidays and festivals with dinners and gatherings.
