Amy met Phil during her junior year at Arizona State University when she was a fellow of Phoenix Suns Cheerleading team as he was in his senior year then. According to Amy Mickelson, she narrated that when Phil told her that he is a pro in golf, she thought that he meant he works in a shop at the golf course. Their first date was awesome as they played tennis together while their second date was at Pro-Am golf championship held in Palm Springs, California and the rest is now history.
2. Triumph Over Breast Cancer
The adorable wife of Phil Mickelson stopped appearing alongside her husband in 2009 as rumors had it that they were heading for a divorce. However, it was later revealed that the comely actress was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thank goodness, Amy survived it through the help of oncologist, Tom Buchholz, as she was able to make it to the 2010 Augusta tournament which her husband went on to clinch.
3. Amy Mickelson is a Charitable Worker
Following her breast cancer survival, she co-founded a foundation with her husband called The Phil and Amy Mickelson Foundation which aids families, youths, and research on breast cancer. Their foundation supported the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston, Texas with $100, 000.

Mickelson is loved by all and sundry in the world of golf following her down-to-earth attitude and her support to her husband which is evident as she is held in high regards among the spouses of other pro golfers.
