Gena Tew is a New York City-based Instagram celebrity and social media influencer. Although the model was recently diagnosed with AIDS, doctors believe she had the virus in her system for nearly ten years. Tew is unsure how she got infected with the virus. Internet users, nevertheless, are concerned that she may have put other well-known personalities at risk by exposing them to the infection previously.
She nearly died because she lost a lot of weight, became severely ill, and was on the verge of death before her condition was recognized. She is unable to walk and requires a wheelchair for assistance, according to Urban Islandz. Gena announced her diagnosis on TikTok in a recent video. She said, “I was homeless in New York City at the time and I was sexually assaulted a few times, which is how I’m thought to have gotten the virus roughly ten years ago.”
According to Gena, she didn’t learn she had AIDS until she visited a doctor because of unexpected weight loss, nausea, and extreme tiredness. When the doctor checked her for HIV, the results were positive. She was diagnosed with AIDS, which is an advanced form of HIV infection. Along with a low white blood cell count, she was diagnosed with the wasting syndrome, which is referred to as an “AIDS-defining disease.” Tew has not yet released any information about the malware or those who may be vulnerable.
