Alan Shearer has an estimated net worth of $52.5 million. Shearer combines work as a television football pundit for the BBC and Al-Jazeera with his role as an ambassador for Umbro, continuing an association that dates from when he signed a 15-year endorsement deal with the sports firm aged 27. The deal is worth £1.33m a year. Shearer moved from enjoying the Toon Army’s adulation to bantering on the Match of the Day sofa, so that five years after his retirement as a player for Newcastle United, his wealth continues to grow. Shearer played for Southampton, Blackburn Rovers, Newcastle United and for the England national team.
