Toyosi went to Nakana Primary School on Lagos’ Victoria Island. She attended Queens College in Yaba, Lagos State, for her secondary schooling.

She later received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Bowen University in Iwo, Osun State. She received a master’s degree in Economics and Policy Studies from the University of Nottingham. 

She also has a journalism diploma from New York Film College. On Thursday, December 3, 2020, she released her first book, “Now You Know Me Better.”

She is the driving force behind the Taiwo Olawale Phillips Memorial Sickle Cell Endowment Fund, which got established to help sickle cell patients. She built this platform in honor of her father, who died of the sickness.
